The Karate To-Fu ummm Kid.

Well my laptop is still broken and waiting for another battery but don't worry I got one from E-Bay.
Well its hear and rather irritatingly its the wrong one and now I have to wait another week at least to get another one.

So I'm going to do a short review on To-Fu The Trials of Chi.
Well firstly TF is a good game.
Basically you control a small slice of To-Fu that you move around the screen by grabbing and stretching him and then letting him go and letting him “PING” to where ever you pointed him.
Your task is to reach a teleporter of sorts and advance to the next level, there are also little tasks such as collecting coins and completing the level in a set number of moves.
Now don't get me wrong but it does get a little boring after a wile but to the games credit it does try to keep it all fresh with metal walls you can bounce off and glass walls you slide down and things like saws, spikes moving platforms etc.
All in TF is a nice cute and fun game that will hold your attention for a wile but will get old in the end.

So until next time and hoping all will be well in Laptop land then, have fun and enjoy.

APP. GAMES

We all know the apps for ordering from our takeaways, and the apps for checking
the prices of items through their bar codes, but when you want to while away ten
minutes or even an hour, there are some great game apps out there – and they
cost less than you think.
All genres are represented – from simple ping pong games we all love remember if
we are of a certain age, to first person shooters  and the graphics can be
surprisingly good for such a small engine.
The beauty of game apps is that you can actually find FREE games. You may be
forgiven for thinking that a free app is a poor app, but no. Some of the games
are free for a ‘limited period only’ and these are the ones to bag when the
opportunity arises. Others are ‘limited download’ of a game which is for sale in
the full version (these are great because you can try before you buy).

Some good examples of free games are ‘Call of Mini – Zombies’, ‘Infinity Blades’
and, though not strictly a game, ‘Shark fingers 3D’.
If you are ever in doubt as to which games to choose there is a free app called
‘Top 1000 Free Apps’ – I think the title self explains it all.
After you’ve explored the free apps, then it’s up to you how much you invest but
the games are normally from .69p upwards. Some titles worth a mention are
‘Modern Combat 2’ at £4.99, ‘Prince of Persia – Warrior Within’ at £1.99 (both
with free demo apps) and ‘Need for Speed’ at .69p.
As I am writing a critique on gaming apps I will just voice one personal gripe.
When people spend .69p on a game and then comments that it’s ‘not worth the
money’ (and you know who you are), please stop it. It’s .69p. Delete the game,
go to the free apps and GET A LIFE.

I feel better for having said that.
Anyway, in short, there is a whole gaming world out there to be downloaded, so
close this blog and go have fun.
But do come back again and don't forget you can follow me on Twitter @Kainen007 or send me a Email kainen007@live.co.uk with what games you would like me to review or just leave a comment on this page.

Happy Gaming....

A little bit of @Rundegun and Co-Op play.

OH is that what I think it is?
OK so I'm going to pretend that I'm cool, I know, wont be hard.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo we all know snowboarding is cool and I have been playing the 3 best snowboarding games on the Iphone and also been dipping my toes into online co-op.

I'm splitting this blog in two.

So lets get started with Call of Duty Call of the Dead, it is no secret that I love Zombie games and iff you did not know that "You do now" and with that in mind I loved this game it stars, Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund as well as the Master of Zombie george romero.
This game plays a little like the normal Zombie Romps you expect and a little like Left4Dead and it works well.
This way to the salad bar

I got to play it in 4 player mode 3 player mode and thanks to @Rundegun 2 player and I think I had much more fun that way and feel its a must to play with friends with mics or at a push random players but a mic is a must as myself and @Rundegun found out the hard way as it was very difficult to play the game when half the team is going off and not helping out.
The map was fun to play (Set mostly on a ship and a bit of a surrounding area in winter) the map had allot of fun things to do and places to go and felt open enough not to get bored.
For some reason @Rundegun wanted to be Sarah all the time but I liked the little snip its that Robert Englund came out with and found them funny and some even linked to his ELMst days.
All in all I think the this map pack was worth it just for the COTD map and I'm still playing it witch is a good thing.

Next up is Arny of two 40th Day and what a wasted opportunity that was, trying to get a co-op game on this thing is like wrestling a Rancor and that includes if you have a friend to invite.
We tried time and time again and when we did get a game it would kick us out of it or if there was a cut-scene or even just ending a lvl it would drop the co-op, this all adds up to not being able to play the game much at all and a great wanting to throw the disk in the bin and then burn said bin and then burn the ashes.
So you see its hard to review this game on co-op apart from to say there are better co-op games out there like Saints Row 2 that even with its bugs it was still a fantastic game to play co-op.

So what do you think? please leave a comment and let me know what you think of co-op gaming and whats your favorite?

In my next Blog there will be more Co-op gaming 4 SnowBoarding games and 3D gaming has arrived and yes its GREAT.

Contact me by following me on Twitter @Kainen007 or Email me with your Questions on kainen007@live.co.uk.

A big thank you to @Rundegun and you really should follow him on Twitter.

So until next time,

Excelsior!

A little bit of APP loving....

Lets never say I'm not down with whats new and hip.
We all know that Teen Wolf is cool and if you have never seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off then you really should.
But what is really cool is gaming when ever and where ever you are and my IPhone 4 lets me do just that.
There are many sorts out there and some are just as good and last just as long as some games on your consoles and you can even get a MMO now that is allot like WOW and also don't forget the
"Toilet Games" little gems that can be picked up and played in minutes.

So lets take a look at a few of them....

Angry Birds - A great "Toilet Game" and unless you have been living in a Hole For the past year or so then this won't be big news to you but it is fun but does have shaky physics.

1000 Heroz

Ups - Very long lasting game and just enough
online leaderboard features. new levels and Heroz
every day. Good level design and great to play.

Downs - Levels are good so far but chance of
Dev Team getting lazy.

Overall - Its fun and Its going to last you a very
 long time. enough said.

OK This is one I'm playing allot rite now and its a running game with one big difference form normal running games and that difference is each day there is a new track and Heroz unlocked (1000 in total) and this add's a fresh take on the geanra and online leaderbaords on each tracks and over all make this a fun game and well worth the 59p asked for it.

GeoSociety

I'm not going to say much about this one as Its Pokemon DS but in the GeoSociety world and although not as advanced as Pokemon DS it is still a very fun and an adincting game and I'm finding it hard to put down as I loved Pokemon on the DS and yes I'm a big kid.

Ups -  The game is like Pokemon on the DS and
Its very cute. It can get very addictive in a strange
 collect them all way.

Downs - Graphics are basic and interface is rather
chuncky and you only get half the screen.

Overall - It is a fun game but does have allot of problems
but nothing an update cant fix.

Well thats your lot folks and remember a head shot gives you double points but being a doosh just gets you kicked form games so place nice ya all.

Its all an Illusion.

Why oh why advertise a game as online when most people cant get the bloody thing online more than just leader boards.
I got DeadNation when it was released played in on single player and it was great but I wanted more as in the real reason I got the game and that was to play it online.
I could not even get one game not one it kept on coming up with errors or time outs, so I left it waited and waited and waited some more until the PSN was hacked and Sony gave all the Welcome Back Pack.
Great news I thought maybe there will be others online now or at least a friend.

Enter Rundegun (@Rundegun on Twitter) a good friend who was willing to try multi player DeadNation and so we tried and finally got a game after lots of errors and Time Outs and even got to the end of the first
level but then it kicked us out of the second level so much we ended up giving up and that's not great at all what is wrong with this game it should work as its been out for ages now and still it fails badly and for such a great game its such a shame. So Sony came out with a bad welcome back pack all old games and the biggest shinning star of them all failed to do what I and allot of others wanted it to do and this to me is a bigger
kick in the head than the poor and mostly useless choice of games they gave out and that coming from me is not good as I am often accused of being a Sony "Fan Boy" and with + being next to useless as well (and I really do not see why people sign up to it) its just not winning over any good points for them.

So its onto COD Call Of The Dead and now we are talking about fun, this is the best Zombie map pack so far a must have but more on this soon as a full review after I have played a little more.

NEWS.

A new season of Lie To Me is out now and its great.
New season of Breaking Bad soon and Haven, Eureka.
http://www.familyguyonline.com/ yes that's rite coming soon Family Guy MMO.

Well that's me for today and feel free to comment and follow me on here and on Twitter @kainen007 and add me to PSN for online gaming fun and I'm thinking of starting some group gaming on COD and WipeOut.

So Until next time have fun................

E3

So this is it E3 is here and unlike the rest of the planet I'm not going to talk about it as by now you would of seen or be watching it all all ready.

So instead I'm going to talk about how Sony (Yes Sony again) has given me nothing in the Welcome Back Pack but they have given me plenty.
So that made little sense or did it, well I have all the games and I hated WipeOut and could not get into the first time round but it would seem that with all my PSN friends now getting the game and asking me to play it online I seem to have found a new fondness for that fast shiny little racer in all its HD glory.
So I have played it many times online now and although not really liking the racing mode I do like the mode where you have to score points against other players by trying to destroy there ships. I am yet to find some one with a mic to play against as I think this will add to the fun with a little banter tends to make things more enjoyable.
After playing the online mode for a wile I suddenly started getting strange feelings towards the single player mode feelings to play it and as this mode put me to sleep last time I thought I would try the HD mode as appose to the Fury mode that led me to the land of nod last like the pied piper leading the Rats to there Death, and so I embarked on my campaign mode of HD crispy goodness.
4 hours later after peeling my fingers off my controller white knuckled and stumbling to my feet feeling some what motion sick I decided that I may have been a little harsh on the little scamp and maybe there is some good honest fun to be had with WipeOut.
The Campaign mode is split into levels and each level has a number of races or time trials to run to score points and get enough points then you get to go onto the next level, there are also loyalty points if you stick with one team long enough then you can unlock extra tracks or ships etc added to the fun of it all.
Is this game worth the money ummm yes is it a good game yes but I do think it could benefit from more online modes and extra tracks.

Once again thank you for reading and you can follow me on Twitter or add me to PSN I'm kainen007 on both.

Until next time happy gaming....

Sony.

Hi all and welcome and thank you for checking this out.
I'll keep my first blog short as but have you ever thought about if your house gets robbed its not really your fault but you could of helped by putting in more security.

I don't think its Sonys fault they got Hacked but in saying that they did not help by declaring war on Hackers as in you don't leave a sign on your house saying "HA my house is the best and you can't break in" its like saying please come try it out as may be a challenge and we all know Hackers love that.
Further more after all that had gone on they seem to be still getting Hacked and now the Store is back up they seem to be trying to fleece all they can from us loyal customers and to my mind the welcome back package is a joke even more so if like me you have all the games in the pack, it just seems like they have given out the games that are the cheapest oldest and have sequels coming out or are all ready out and that's great as a marketing ploy to make more money but not so much if your trying to say sorry and thank you for sticking with us....

Any Hooooooo Thank you for checking my blog out and hope you will come back for more.

Kainen....
